Most of the time, I try not to worry about the daily push and pull of political pundits, but after the past few weeks, it's worth saying something about the way this election has been covered.

There’s been too much false equivalency and too clear of a double standard at play. So I want to take a minute to compare these two candidates, side by side.

While Hillary was fighting school segregation in the South, Donald Trump was sued for discriminating against people of color.

While Hillary has released every single tax return from the past few decades, Trump has provided next to nothing about his financial situation.

While Hillary was fighting for first responders after tragedy struck on September 11th, 2001, Trump was bragging that his building was now the tallest in all of Manhattan.

And while Hillary’s foundation has saved countless lives around the globe, Donald Trump has used money people have given his so-called charity to buy a six-foot-tall painting -- of himself.

This is a man who utters things on a daily basis that would disqualify any other candidate. But because he says something outrageous or nonsensical every time he steps up to a podium, he gets a pass.

And the only way that will change is if we do something about it -- which means rolling up our sleeves and working as hard as possible to elect Hillary come November.

Hillary’s team needs to tally 2.5 million donors by the end of the month to have enough in its pocket to fight Donald Trump’s callousness and bigotry at every turn from now through Election Day. Will you join us and make your first donation today? Her team will send you a free sticker as a thank you if you chip in now to guarantee that, on November 8th, our country will choose hope over fear once more:

Let’s get busy. Let’s get to work.

Thank you,

Barack
